Santham Homoeopathy Hospital and Research Centre proudly hosted a monumental event on April 6, 2025, at Besant Nagar Beach, Chennai, in celebration of World Homoeopathy Day. This incredible gathering not only paid tribute to Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the father of homoeopathy, but also set a world record recognized by the International Pride World Record (IPWR). The event was a resounding success, drawing immense participation from homoeopathic doctors and the general public alike.

A Grand Beginning: Honoring Dr. Hahnemann

The event commenced with an enchanting narration of Dr. Hahnemann’s life history by Baby Nithila, daughter of Dr. Poovendan. Her storytelling captivated the audience, while mime artists brought his inspiring journey to life through a mesmerizing performance. This heartfelt tribute set the tone for the day’s activities.

Raising Awareness: Dramatic Presentations on Diseases

A key highlight of the event was the awareness campaign led by 25 homoeopathic doctors. Through dramatic enactments on stage, they educated the public about 25 common diseases such as sinusitis, gastric ulcers, ADHD, tonsillitis, and more. These engaging performances effectively conveyed how homoeopathy provides holistic solutions for various ailments.
